After every update of XYplorer it's not possible to open any pdf documents (directly from XYplorer). To make it work I have to restart Windows. Then it works until the next update of XYplorer.

Re: pdf documents
The issue isn't new, it's been the same for many years. I'm not sure whether it depends how I try to open the pdf-file since it just happens in connection with updates, before restarting the computer. In Processexplorer the acrobatservices are working but never finishes.
Re: pdf documents
I read Acrobat and would suggest that you switch to a different PDF app, as Adobe doesn't seem to play well with XY.
Just search "PDF preview" in this forum to find all the cases where problems were suddenly solved, once Adobe was not the main PDF app anymore.

Re: pdf documents
Here is what I found out.
I'm running 64-bits Windows 10 Pro. The problem is together with Adobe Acrobat (as someone suggested). I haven't tested it with other pdf-readers.
In order to read pdf-documents I have to, either restart Windows or, in Process Explorer, kill the two instances of Adobe that was running. The test was done with the downloading of the recent version of XYPlorer (27.10.0300). Since this is a minor problem (at least for me) I'm leaving it for now.

Re: pdf documents
Long time ago I had the answer to this problem.
I don't remember, but there is a security feature in Adobe settings which must be changed.
