1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

Foldernames and file names are not displayed fully

Post by vdongen »

I discovered that some folder names and file names are not displayed fully in the file list (right side), instead of that they ends with "...".

foldernames are ended with .... even before it reach the column border, while files names ends with ... just before the border.

I have set the setting to adjust the column width automatically.

I cannot send a screenshot to show, pls advice.

something like this happened a few weeks ago (both in XY and WE).
more than half of file and folder names ended in '...', even if they were only 4-5 chars long.
i had to change to smaller fonts to fix it (not the size, but the font itself).

i don't know how it happened, tho.
one day it was ok and the next it was all messed up.

well, i've seen worse things happening without apparent reason.

First of all, I would suggest that you update to 7.2 and we'll take it from there :)

If it's reproducable then please send me your INI file by email. Hopefully I can reproduce it, too.
