XY window jumps, font changes, but not in all Windows

Post by KLASS »

Windows 10 v1607 (build 14393) support is over, but I will voice a certain problem.
After the first run of XY (beta 27.90.0009) the DATA folder is created and there are no errors. The error appears after the second launch of XY. XY window jumps and font changes in address bar, in quick search by F3, in user buttons edit...
Windows 10 v21H2 (build 19044) does not have this problem.

Yes, I also get window jumps and font changes in the address bar and other places in Win11. The twinBASIC folks have been informed about this weeks ago. Eventually they will fix it.

I would like to add that in Windows 11 (specifically, the latest Canary build 27900.1000), the XY window does not bounce, and the font does not change to bold.

Found a way to stop this in Win8.1 (might work in Win10 as well): these problem disappear when "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" is checked in XYplorer.exe/Right-Click/Properties/Compatibility (or in LNK to EXE/Right-Click/Properties/Compatibility).
