What's selected in the list after operations

Hi. Using version 27.00.0800 Pro. It seems that what gets selected in the file/folder "details" list after certain common operations is different from the way it worked in the past:

When I move "up" a folder in the hierarchy (I often use Alt+Up Arrow), the folder I just left often isn't selected or highlighted in the parent folder. I frequently want to rename that folder, but it gets lost in the long list of other items in the parent folder's details list.

Also, after I rename a file/folder (using F2) in the details list, that file/folder is not then selected so hitting enter does nothing.

Do I have setting(s) wrong, did the behavior(s) really change, or is it something else?

Hm, can't reproduce any of this. And there haven't been any changes in this area for ages.
