Reporting what seems to be a bug using TB 27.00.608 on Win10...
I have a toolbar button for the recycle bin. Three mouse buttons are set as in this screenshot: When I right-click XYTB returns that the bin contains nothing: Yet the bin actually contains 46 files at 312.72mb:

1) I guess your screen scaling is at least at 200%?
2) But is it only the tab bar? What about the toolbar?

Ok thanksphred wrote: ↑10 Jun 2025 23:45 To paraphrase Don, "there will be bugs, there will be glitches."
If you're using the Portable (no install) version simply copy the entire XY directory to a new location, such as XYplorerTB. Then copy the latest TB.exe to the newly created TB directory and let it overwrite the existing .exe. Then you'll have all your configuration and layouts and scripts and CFA and CEA etc. You can drag the TB exe to the desktop to create a shortcut, but make sure it's clear to you that it's the TB version.
Doing it this way you can have both versions open at the same time.

I tried to work with your explanation (copy C:\XYplorer to C:XYplorerTB) and when I try to use the TB there is a problem with the current path of XYplorer by exit TB. (The configurations are not taken over from the original XY.)phred wrote: ↑10 Jun 2025 23:45To paraphrase Don, "there will be bugs, there will be glitches."

I am late to the party, Don! So excited to see this new development.admin wrote: ↑10 Jun 2025 18:52 New version of XYplorer compiled with twinBASIC BETA 802 (32-bit still):
XYplorerTB.exe, v27.00.0608, NOT digitally signed, zipped
+ Various fixes.
There will be glitches, there will be bugs. Work in progress.

I have couple of Linux machines for testing when you are ready. For now, I will test this on Windows 11 PCs.

Hi Native2904,
seems you are using version v27.00.0604.
Some (most?) of your errors might be solved using newer versions (v27.00.0605 or v27.00.0608. Please try them.
Best regards Markus
P.S.: please excuse, maybe double post

I am just chiming in - I am so happy - I have been looking at a file managers recently because the one I currently use is getting long in the tooth for me.
While XYplorer - eventually - allow me to fire off python scripts on folders? I am currently doing this with another file manager and it would be great to - eventually - move these over to XYplorer in whatever language is acceptable. Again - eventually - I am not pushing, just asking for the vision.
