Remembering folder's sort order

Post by epochsys »

Hi

Is it possible to have a specific sort order saved with each folder? For example, I have a folder named 'Master' with two subfolders, 'SubFolder1' and 'SubFolder2'. I want my SubFolder1 to be sorted by Date, and SubFolder2 by name. Windows Explorer remembers these sort settings. But XYplorer changes the sort settings for that tab. For example, if I go to SubFolder1 and sort it by Date, then return to the parent folder, the Master folder will be ordered by date. Similarly, if I navigate to SubFolder2, it will also be sorted by Date.

I want XYPlorer to remember the sort order of every folder like Windows does.

Is there a setting in the configuration that can address this issue?

Thank you

For specific folders: yes, for every folder visited: no

Execute this as a script, e.g. from the address bar:
rtfm "idh_fvs.htm";
One of my scripts helped you out? Please donate via Paypal
