Persistent File Picker

Post by phred »

Don...

I don't know how much control you have over the forum software, but wherever I want to attach an image, the file picker opens to "Desktop." I send all my screenshots to a sub-directory on my D: drive. It would be helpful if the "Add files" file picker always opened to the same (user-selected) directory.

Thanks.

You know that you can drag and drop attachments into the edit window to get them added?

Thanks highend. No, I did not realize that I could drag/drop. Just tested and it works perfectly. Of course.

Don - ignore my request. I'd say delete it but leaving it here may help someone else who is requesting the same thing.

Using Windows 10 Pro. For me, the file picker opens at the last folder I uploaded from.
