No Tree Refresh after Deletion

Post by Vocalpoint »

Further to some interesting reading in this thread:

viewtopic.php?t=28014&hilit=Refresh

I am experiencing the same right now with 26.90.

To keep things very simple:

I can go to any main (first level) folder on any drive
Create a subfolder folder called Test.
In the first level folder - I can see the new folder like so:

2025-03-07_06-25-57.png
2025-03-07_06-25-57.png (2.68 KiB) Viewed 613 times

I then highlight the Test folder

2025-03-07_06-27-36.png
2025-03-07_06-27-36.png (2.29 KiB) Viewed 613 times
Hit Delete

2025-03-07_06-27-48.png
2025-03-07_06-27-48.png (2.26 KiB) Viewed 613 times

XY briefly flashes and the "highlight" moves up a level - but the Test folder remains.

To get it to disappear - I have to hit F5 everytime

This is 100% reproducible for any folder anywhere on this machine.

Oddly - with the same settings on another Windows 10 machine here - refresh is absolute - everytime.

I am a bit baffled as to what is going here vs other machines - which all have identical settings to this machine.

Indeed a bug (since 20250202). But I could reproduce it only if Auto-Refresh is off. :? Anyway, should be fixed in next beta.
