How bad are you missing the Windows Common Controls?
Is TV3 too non-conformistic to do for a user what a file manager has to do for a user?
I understand what TsunamiZ is talking about. The appearance of a piece of software can sometimes can sway a person to use or not use it. I am usually that way. If I have two functionally identical apps and one looks good while the other doesn't, I'd go with the one that looks good in an instant. Tracker has enough unique and useful features that looks are a non-factor for me. If not having the Windows Common Controls means that we continue to get these features, then by all means, continue to be non-conformistic...unless you can provide the best of both worlds.

Have you tried xplorer² Professional 1.4 by any chance?

I've just installed it and it is a very mature file browser with a nice interface. Has a lot of useful features I wished TrackerV3 had. [It has: thumnail view, list view, network access, dual panes, file renames, customizable toolbar, XP theme support, etc.] I've been posting a ton of suggestions in their forum, too. But mostly small things to help polish it up.

Yeah, I tried a bunch of different file managers...the one that I kept coming back to was Tracker. xplorer² never felt natural to me, Tracker does. Thanks, though.
