"group by" option missing!!

I too want this option. I want to be able to select a file type, or date etc from a drop down box option from the folder column list. so that only the desired files are visible in the folder window.

Perhaps the "Type Stats and Filter" drop down menu can help with filetypes?

A button with the dates could also be scripted...

I'd propose to post the script above into the Scripts branch, 'cause new users ask for similar stuff from time to time.
