Catalog for vertical tabs

I've seen, that the only possibility to implement vertical tabs in XYplorer is by catalog, but got problem:
A catalogue with tabs must manually execute the "update category" action with RMB to include current tabs after newly opened, otherwise it will display only tabs from catalog creation time. Therefore vertical tabs using catalog isn't very usable.
Am I doing something wrong and auto-updated tabs in catalog are possible? Or maybe scripting can help?

oops, sorry, translation error. I mean "update category" with right-click on catalog header

That command doesn't exist as a command id and there is no scripting command to add catalog items so you're probably out of luck currently...
