Help file

Post by Delphine »

:?: Why is XYPlorer's help so incomplete? Some script commands (see #704) that have been around for a long time (e.g. opencommandprompt) are not included in the help. There must be many others that could certainly be useful, and that have never been the subject of a simple mention in the help? This is unfortunate

"so incomplete?" ... wow, didn't see that coming. Most people are shocked by its completeness :D

Anyway, it's not incomplete. If it's not in the help, it's not officially supported, it's either beta or tweak level.

...and any undocumented script commands have been properly covered here for years.

Are you only looking via F1 or Help > Contents and Index? If so, there's a massive 900+ page PDF User Manual available here: https://www.xyplorer.com/download/XYplorerHelp.pdf. It may have what you're looking for.

Well, the contents of F1 Help and the PDF are 100% identical.

I wasn't aware of that, Don. I've always preferred the PDF as it's easier to read.
