Rapid Access Folders don't accept ?:\

Post by Garonne »

I want to add Rapid Access Folders within my portable Drive. But apparently I can't use the "?" to specify the portable drive. I have to either just go with relative paths ("\Path") or use XYplorers built in variable ("<xydrive>\Path") for it to function. Is it intended?

Support for the ?-syntax may be added later.

Thanks. For now relative paths or using the variable will do.

Re: Auto-Run for Catalog Items?

Well... Actually I have to refile this as bug now.

Rapid Access Folder definition:

Code: Select all

Portable>\Portable
does not work correctly.

When calling the "Portable" folder, it's displayed correctly. But when I try to switch to a sub-folder (double-click or <Enter>) nothing happens.

The definition with <xydrive>:

Code: Select all

Portable><xydrive>\Portable
does not have the same issue.

Uhh... Actually... The top one doesn't create some circle reference issue, does it?

For it to be a bug, RAF would have to support using relative paths, which it doesn't.

Did some testing and see no problems with adding support for portable and relative paths. Next beta.

Seems to work without issues in 26.70.0504.

Thanks, Don.
