Re: How to move the tabs between the Menu bar and the tool bar?
mmh... how are the chances of this being added?
Imho it would be a great improvement, from other applications people are expecting to find the tabs on the very top or close to it,
also putting them there adds more space for tabs.
Also it would be nice to make it emulate the behavioure of windows explorer and switch tree views with the tabs, i.e. that's expanded and whats not.
What I'm looking for is a explorer replacement which looks as close to XP as possible but with win 11 style tab support.
Also It would be great if there are to many tabs open to start a second and third and so on row of tabs.

Note that each pane has its own tab bar. But if you are mostly in single pane mode: Check Window | Arrangement | Wide Tab Bar* and enjoy.
* I'll make it the factory default, thanks for the idea!

Oh cool that already helps a lot, how if we could move the address bar below the tab bar
that would be already almost there it needs to be

Let me repeat myself: "Note that each pane has its own tab bar."

I understand so each pane could also have its own address bar.
Or alternatively add a switch to hide the shared address bar, and enhance the crumb bar where each pane has its own to allow pasting paths there and copying it from there.

Or press F8 and have the whole width of the window for all of the bars.

That already helped a good way, and may be in a future build there will be more options
