:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Search for files containing dashes doesn't return any results

Post by darekkay »

1. Create a file
2024-09-01 11.00.00.jpg
in a folder.
2. Open the Search panel (Ctrl + F) and select the "Standard" mode.
3. Enter
2024-09-01 11.00.00
and press "Find now".

I would expect the search to find the file. It seems that the "-" is interpreted as an operator, as searching for
2024 09 01 11.00.00
returns correct results.

I couldn't find any description what the "Standard" mode does, expect for this short quote:

whereas in Standard mode it would simply be interpreted as those three characters.

Is it intended that "-" doesn't work as expected in the Standard mode?
