Interesting. Over here, Microsoft YaHei 9 with 90% line number font size is not slow at all. :?

1) Which Windows version do you use?
2) Is it also slow when you use the Segoe UI font?

1) windows 10 21h2 19044.2006
2) Using Segoe UI is also slow

I noticed when Line numbers relative font size is less than 100
The CPU usage of the ChsIME.exe process for Chinese input method is very high.
I suspect this is related to performance lag

So if you turn off the Chinese input method, it runs fast again?

(I cannot reproduce this here, and I don't see the relation to a simple font size change. If it's really caused by the Chinese IME it must a Windows/IME bug.)

It cannot be closed by normal methods in the Chinese language system. Killing the process will automatically restart immediately.
It will not become faster after closing using a special method (Image File Execution Options)
Perhaps it is necessary to test with the Chinese system in a virtual machine?

I tested on Windows 7 in a virtual machine and had the same problem
This system does not have ChsIME.exe and should have nothing to do with it.
However, when performance lags, it will indeed cause the CPU usage of ChsIME.exe in WIN10 to increase.

Thanks, I cannot reproduce it on Win8.1 or on Win10. And I have no idea what's causing it. :|

I would like to know if other Chinese (or East Asian?) users see the same problem.
