Open folders in specific pane
Open folders in specific pane
Would it be possible to add an option, maybe to the Folder View, which is obviously accessed if a folder is opened, to open folders in either the left or right pane. I don't know how many times I've opened a folder in the "wrong" pane, overwriting an already open folder in that one.

Too exotic.
But note that you can force a folder to the back pane by holding down ALT while selecting it in the tree.

I know, but it requires another hand. Having it open in a specific panel with one click is just so much more Anwenderfreundlich.

Re: Open folders in specific pane
How many folders are you talking about? Is it maybe only one or two? Or all folders in a certain branch? Should they always go to pane 2? Or to the inactive pane?
