1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Reset Tree does not keep selected folder visible

Post by Nuno »

Hi!
Since at least version 26.40.0100, "Reset Tree" (menu or Ctrl+Shift+F4) collapses the entire tree and no longer keeps the selected folder visible.
I would swaer it previously worked differently. I never touched "Remember state of tree" before and now it seems to make no difference for this particular case.

Indeed... Using a "/fresh" instance it does not happen...
I am sorry! I should have checked it earlier...

Any idea what may be causing this in my "not fresh" instance?

Apparently the posts got mixed up. So I say it again: I still cannot repro it with your INI file.

Yes, I thought the browser had refreshed but it didn't...

Just to let you know that I decided to start almost from scratch and copied the majority of the important (for me) settings from my ini to the one created by the "fresh" instance and the "Reset Tree" command is working fine since.
Thanks anyway and sorry for bothering you with these seemingly unreproducible "bugs"... :)
