Resize bottom panel? No audio playback if panel is hidden?

Is there a way to resize the bottom panel in TrackerV3?
Or a way to keep audio playback active when i hide the panel?

I use TrackerV3 mainly for quickly browsing audio files. Most times i really only need to hear the sound play so the bottom border with all the tabs is not needed then but occupies 1/4th of the screen.

I'm a new user but up till now i'm very happy with this program. It's minimal, which i like, doesn't install heaps of files, is fast and works how one would expect. Good job!

Sure, (1) there's a horizontal splitter between status bar and panel which you can drag up and down, (2) if you right-click the status bar the panel will jump between minimal and and last-user-defined size.

When playback is on you can hide the panel (F12) and it will keep playing. Currently, however, you cannot start a playback while the panel is hidden -- this is a feature: no panel = no preview (opening/running files).

Resizing with the horizontal splitter doesn't let me make it smaller than it is by default i'm afraid.

You say currently. Can i hope you will at some time make an option to enable 'Audio preview when panel is hidden'? Because that would be very usefull. For audio you don't always need to read info, a quick listen can be sufficient.

Great addon. And i'm impressed how fast you work!

There is one more thing i'd like to ask. Can you add an option to choose which sound device is used? I have two soundcards installed; One for windows / internet etc and one i use for Audio production. When i'm producing the default card is muted so TV3 is muted then too. If i could select what playback device is used then the problem would be solved.

When i preview a MP3 and right click on the bar on the info panel to skip through a song, then it stutters the song a second and then resumes playback as normal. This doesn't happen with WAV's, only in MP3's.

I tried last month and failed
EDIT: making progress...
EDIT2: ... nope, can't do. I have only 1 sound card and there needs to be a lot of testing. Sorry, but that's it for now.

You can mention all the bugs, and all the "bugs"! Concerning this one: I have some few mp3s showing this behavior, but most of my files work as expected.
