Menu icons do not show when native menu is hidden

Menu icons do not show when native menu is hidden

When native Win32 menu is hidden, icons also stop showing. Is this expected?
Version: 26.40

Win32 menu is active
has icons.png
Open With items:
  • &1 ImgOps|imgops_bg.ico
  • "C:\Program Files\WinRAR\WinRAR.exe" x <items>
  • "C:\Portable\Mp3tag\Mp3tag.exe"
  • "C:\Program Files (x86)\IrfanView\i_view32.exe" /thumbs

Yes, this seems to be unavoidable. A Microsoft bug that will probably never be fixed.
