I get this error that an application is busy a lot. Do you know why I keep getting it?
Sometimes it's just when I select a file too. And sometimes when I open a file and get that error I open the application and then open the file through there with no problem.

Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.
When attaching an Image, please use the Attachment tab at the bottom of your post and click "Add files".

Re: Application Busy Error
FYI the only solution is to kill XYplorer from task manager and open it again.

No, it will disappear after clicking Switch To...xanthareel wrote: ↑25 Aug 2024 01:59 FYI the only solution is to kill XYplorer from task manager and open it again.
It may be caused by the Hover Box doing work. Try to limit it to the icon:
Configuration | Information | File Info Tips & Hover Box | Show Hover Box | When hovering over the icon
FAQ | XY News RSS | XY X

Re: Application Busy Error
Ok I have unchecked that option so hopefully that doesn't show up again.
It disappears for a few seconds but then pops up again. So it is stuck in an infinite loop unless I kill the process.
