Yes, thank you! I was afraid we'd run out of bugs.
Fix comes.

1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Re: Virtual Folders
Ha!, yep must be getting close.
I just tested 26.30.0300 in my main config and the issues I was having there (which were encountered differently than in the posted repro) look resolved now too, thanks!
I'd been unsuccessful in trying to make that repro so many times and kept giving up, so glad to have eventually found all the required criteria.

Re: Virtual Folders
Thanks for the repro. I can see it was hard work to make it.

PS: Just saw that the fix doesn't cover all possible cases yet. It will tomorrow.

Re: Virtual Folders
I'm using .0401, and now that the previous issue is out of the way it made this one easier to isolate. I have found that running the following script produces a similar issue as before, the use of SC tab seems a requirement, but the trigger can instead be other cmds eg. timestamp.
Code: Select all
tab("new", "vi:<xypath>"); sel 1; msg "After this dialog closes the issue should be visible", 16; timestamp;-

Re: Virtual Folders
Would it be possible for VFO's to remember selection on tab switch?

Re: Virtual Folders
Good question. It is quite possible, but I deliberately removed it on 2023-01-12. Strangely, I made no note of why I did this
At the moment I can see nothing to prevent it, so I will make it possible again.

Re: Virtual Folders
Had no time to check the change yesterday, sorry.
I thought it might have not been implemented because if you use a pick var that the wrong files might get selected when the root changes, but that doesn't seem to happen, so far it seems to work great, thanks.
Also FYI VFO's have been working great for me now, but one minor cosmetic issue, not sure its even worth mentioning, if you use a VFO caption, and have tab HoverBox enabled the icons get partially corrupted, eg:
To repro in fresh,

$l = "<pick 4 '%WINDIR%'>"; tab("newb", "vi:$l //""CAP""");- >> Hover tab icon
