Rapid Access forcing names with a numerical suffix

In Rapid Access I am not able to set a folder name to "Downloads" as something is enforcing a "2" as a suffix.

This particular folder is a junction to the profile Downloads folder (C:\Users\Nuno\Downloads)
Is this by design?

Yes, by design. Otherwise special paths (Rapid Access Folders) would not be uniquely resolvable due to ambiguity.
