Windows 10 Pro
Xyplorer ver 26.30.0200
When I launched Xyplorer today, the window came up in normal size, but all the text was shrunk down by about 300%. All menus, file lists, -- everything. They are nearly unreadable.
I usually leave this system running 24/7, but last night I shut it down. That's the only thing that's different. I tried refreshing, relaunching, restarting the PC, updating to ver 26.x (it was 25.x), but nothing has helped. The font settings in configuration are still correct, but not the display.
Is there some type of cache that might be causing this?

Re: All text in Window Shrunk
XY has no control over the size of the menu text. So it has to be a Windows problem. Did you completely shut down and restart Windows (as opposed to just hibernating)?

Yes, I restarted. All of the other apps have normal size fonts, as usual. Xyplorer is the ONLY app that has small text. It's not just the menus. All of the text (including the file lists) are affected.

Crazy.
Make a copy of XYplorer.exe to some temp folder and start it from there. Same issue?

Right-click XYplorer.exe, choose Properties from the context menu, then the Compatibility tab, then play with the settings related to display.

Re: All text in Window Shrunk
I restarted the PC 4 times. On the 4th time the window returned to its normal font size. It must have been angry that I shut it down for 7 hours. It's used to running all the time.
I'm not sure if any of you have read "Speaker for the Dead" by Orson Scott Card, but there's a non-corporeal entity that accompanies the protagonist, Ender, and communicates to him through his earpiece (or something similar). It takes the form of a woman's voice that he calls Jane. They develop a kind of symbiosis. The point being, when Ender turns her "off" for a period of time without explanation, the trust is broken between them and never completely returns.
I hope my computer is more forgiving.
