How to disable new right pane showing preview of files

Hi,
I'm using version 26.30.0200.
I noticed in this version and previous that file previews are showing in a new pane on the right hand side.
This new feature is slowing down XYPlorer.
Is there a way to disable this feature?

And there was no idea to simply switch the preview off.
