I saw the thread on "Search files on contents does not work for CP437 box characters" but I have a case where the search will not match a simple word.
I have a compound search where I have a name filter and a contents filter. The name filter alone works properly and selects 172 results in a folder of about 3000 files. When I add the text for a Contents filter, there are zero results.
The Contents search term is "Pipeline" (without quotes)
No other filters other than Name and Contents are used.
I know there is at least one file in the folder with the word "Pipeline" - I've opened it and searched internally.
The file containing the text is PowerPoint PPTX. The Mode is Normal, The Type is Text, match case and other checkbox options are not checked.
In the matching file, the word "Pipeline" appears in the title of slide 17.
Am I missing something in how Contents search works, or is this a a bug?

Select a file that you know contains "Pipeline" and run this script through the address bar:
text extracttext(); Does the extracted text contain "Pipeline"?FAQ | XY News RSS | XY X

The scripting window that appears contains:
At the bottom, there is an error:
Code: Select all

Actually, not solved.
I started using the content search now that it functions.
Today, XY hung up on a search - hourglass cursor, "Not Responding" in title bar.
I let it go for about 10 minutes, and finally killed it.
When I restarted XY, content search no longer worked, and I discovered the two setting for Ifilters had become unchecked.
I re-checked them and tried again.
I dialog XY64contents.exe appeared saying "Could not close the previous instance of this script. Keep waiting?
I selected No, and XY was hung again. This time I used resource monitor, and terminated all XYplorer and XY64contents.exe instances before re-starting.
Ifilters checkboxes were cleared again when restarting?
