Can't sort folders [CLOSED]

Can't sort folders [CLOSED]

The toggle for "Modified" (and Created, and Name... ) seems to change the view, but the folders are not sorted. For example:

Is there a setting I mangled somewhere?

Found some "sort folders apart" setting ticked. Not sure why that exists, but unticking it brought normalcy back.

Because some people, me for one, like to have the directories at the top of the list no matter what. And sorted ahead of the files.
