my XYplorer version 26.020.0206 loops indefinately trying to create thumbnails from WEBP files
how comes ?
it although manages to open them correctly. weird.

2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

I have no problems to get thumbnails for WebP files.
Only animated WEBP files are not decoded by XY or Explorer.
IN TC, they work with the help of IrfanView.

Well, it starts just creating the 363 thumbnails (without showing any of them created), then it pauses for let say 3 sec and then it restarts automaticlly from 0 in an infinite loop.
I recorded my sreeen in a MP4 video file but the forum does not accept such attachment so I just put a picture taken at some moment in the loop.
In the meantime just for test purpose I copied the files to a separate directory on a local disk and there it worked fine.
The first directory where it loops is a subdir of my onedrive directory. (the files are flagged in the microsoft file manager to be kept locally)
strange isnt it ?

Looks like an auto-refresh induced recursion to me. Maybe this all happened in a busy folder?
