Filter directly in the columns as in Windows Explorer

Post by RASA »

Hey all,

I was a bit suprised, though XYplorer can do so much more than the win explorer, that this simple feature is missing. ...or I did not find it :eh:
see the screenshot below.
Though we need it as simple as possible, I can't teach all the colleges how to use the filter line by typing.

Thanks in advance,

RASA

Just add the "Type Stats and Filter" button to the toolbar, it serves the same purpose...

thanks for the quick reply.
This is only working for the filetype column as I see. But I want to set multiple filters also for the extra and custom columns.
Is there an easy way?

Only by scripting that

E.g. via a html gui that shows all columns you need a filter for and a filter field next to them
Depending on column content either a drop-down field (e.g. for the type) or a string field for text content

Quite doable but requires some work of course...
