hi! thank you for granting this wish.
i do hope others find it a useful feature. for me, i have disabled it. the muscle memory for closing surrounds in other software with the right-side ), ] and } keys is too strong (plus it's faster/closer/easier to access just the right key) and the reverse feature isn't something i would ever need or use.
