Dual Monitor

Post by dep7209 »

Fastone Image Viewer filemanager 7.8 has simple check box to project a viewer panel onto a second monitor (see photo below)....This feature is essential to my work when reviewing masses of motordrive photos (25 fps) to delete the junk....I have thrashed about in Xyplorer while testing it in Settings, Help, Forums, and on-line search and cannot discover if Xyplorer can similarly easily project photo files to a 2nd monitor.

Can it?

Can someone explain if this is possible? Thanks.

Mouse down blow up previews can be moved (just by moving the mouse while it is displayed) and the position can be remembered

Configuration | Preview | Mouse Down Blow Up | Mouse Down on Thumbnails and Icons | [x] Remember relative position

I do not have a dual monitor setup any more (but one very large screen) but I guess it should work with it as well...

No there is no simple checkbox like that, but the F11 Floating Preview window should be able to be moved onto a second monitor quite easily, not sure if it will remember its monitor though once you have closed it, but it might.

F11 Floating Preview can be moved to any monitor and it's position is remembered after closing and reopening XY.
