Weird. What kind of search is that? Got a screenshot?

The path DOES show when I do a search.
However, if I click on a folder WITHOUT doing a search, the path does not show up.
If after choosing a folder, I click on Find Now then the Path does appear again.
Now that I understand it, it's not a big deal, but is there a way to have the Path appear without having to click on Find Now.

Switch to a folder, add the path column, menu - view - folder view settings - define this folder view as default

Why do you want the Path column in a folder listing? It's completely redundant.
