in XYplorer: 25.90.0133 you cant drop files to customized button e.g. e <drop>

I think the op might mean, historically (pre BTB) you didn't need a script marker, eg s.colon etc. Personally I consider it best practice to include one. No idea why that specific beta version is mentioned though, so I could be wrong.

If ScriptSmartDetect=1 (and why should anybody set it to 0?) you still don't need a script marker (::) if you use the final semi-colon: e <drop>; works, but e <drop> does not and I don't think it ever did.

It used to work without the semi colon, as I said, I didn't mean the explicit script marker, still no idea if that is what the op meant though anyway.

jupe was right. Some kind of script markup is mandatory from the next beta to get rid of too much ambiguity.
