Alt+drag on Executable not produce a Link

Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once.
When attaching an Image, please use the Attachment tab at the bottom of your post and click "Add files".

Alt+drag on Executable not produce a Link
I tried Alt+drag on an executable to desktop, this didn't produce a Link to the executable instead made a copy of it which isn't the expected Explorer behavior for this.

Yes, creating a LNK this way from XY to another app is not supported. I'm afraid not. When you use the right mouse button you'll see the "Create Shortcut" is also missing from the drop context menu. Never found a way to fix that.wc96 wrote:got ya. I wonder if there's anyway this could be added since it seems very logical to just drag it and drop it off on desktop. Although not something I need to perform too often.
