:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

[FIXED in v25.70.0100] Creating Directory with Subdirs changes Selection to another Dir

Post by matewo »

Hi All,

maybe not a really bug, but...

Steps to reproduce (XYplorer, v25.60.0100):
  • enable setting Configuration | General | Sort and Rename | Rename | [x] Allow move on rename
  • sort by Name
  • create a directory X, containing 5 other directories: Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd, Ff
  • change into X
  • select dir Bb
  • start creating new directory (Ctrl+N)
  • rename "New Folder" to "Ee\Gg", press Enter
  • directory "Ff" is selected, instead of Ee. So changing into Ee needs to move selection to directory Ee first, e.g. via arrow keys.
Thanks in advance and best regards,

Markus
