Looks pretty white indeed. Did you reboot Windows in the meantime?

Yes I did, and the Firefox HTML icon is still white.

When you dbl click HTML it is opened with Firefox?

BTW, this also happens even if I do a fresh install of XYplorer with its default settings.

It has nothing to do with XY. The problem is with the registration of the HTML extension. If you know your way around the registry, remember to look in the 32-bit branch.
