hi! on v25.40.0403 - 2024-01-19 12:41, left clicking in the open space in the list (to the right of your last column) 1) no longer deselects any checkboxed/full row selected entries and 2) doesn't display the right-click context menu.
i rolled back to the previous version and what i listed above works properly.

1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.
When attaching an Image, please use the Attachment tab at the bottom of your post and click "Add files".

update. just tried v25.40.0404 and the problem still exists.
the deselecting of the folder/files doesn't work at all. the right-click context menu is odd. i get different results almost each time i right-click in the open area now, regardless of what is selected. let me know if you need to know my settings. i do have checkbox selection enabled and full-row select turned on (probably the 2 related ones).
these behaviors are not present in v25.40.0402 and lower.

Yep, a little confusion caused by the new Status column. Fix coming.
