Power of a script?

Post by iaseac »

Power of a script?
As an example, can a script change the XY “Tree” back to what is standard in the industry?
If a script can do this, is it cost-effective in terms of labor hours used or spent for such a programming task to change to what is standard for all other programs?

Hi Delphine,

as far as I know, you could just view / hide the (one) tree, but you could not display two trees (one for each pane).

Don't know what you mean by "standard in the industry", but it's easy to hide Tree at all, or make some optimizations to make it less populated, and all that doesn't require script use.

Of course, it's very easy to hide. But what about having one visible tree by pane ?

Double tree is - based on previous responses from admin to such requests - not going to happen in XY, so if this is so important to you, you might have to find it somewhere else.
