:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:? I told you why it is checked.

This menu item has two functions:
1) You can suspend AR.
2) It tells you whether AR is currently active.

If the checkbox is not checked, change the view to details, close the beta and run it again....
If the checkbox is still not checked after the above steps,
then delete the DATA folder in the beta and do the same thing again. And so on until the checkbox is checked.

Thanks, but I will find the bug (if it's still there in the current version) my own way. :)

Suspend Auto-Refresh
In a long configured program with DATA folder we uncheck the checkbox and save the settings, but! If you run XYplorer several times (5-10) the checkbox is checked automatically, and after restarting XYplorer it is automatically unchecked again.
And in unconfigured program and without DATA folder everything works correctly. There is a problem somewhere with the settings, but where... I don't know.

It was all Session Manager's fault
viewtopic.php?t=8691
If on a clean beta you configure a user button to start Session Manager (load "SessionManager.xys"), the Suspend Auto-Refresh menu item is periodically enabled afterwards.

Well, I don't use Session Manager but I have seen "Suspend AR" ticked sometimes without good reason. I'm still hunting this bug...

Yes, I just ran pure XY-beta a few times, and on the 15th run the checkbox checked automatically.
