You know, sometimes we need copy&paste files between windows to Vmware's Virtual OS.
Yes, we can. But XYplorer cannot. Everytime, this oprating must be in Windows Explorer.
I think, this is a problem that can be sovled.

Re: Cannot Copy/Paste between XYplorer to Vmware OS
Today, VMware update to 17.5. I try it again.
From VM to XY, have a message windows. It show "Copy 0 items now?" Sometime it works. If drag the file from VM to XY directly, it works.
From XY to VM, it work today.
I donnot know if there is wrong come from VM. But this problem never happen between VM to Explorer of Windows.

Re: Cannot Copy/Paste between XYplorer to Vmware OS
Interesting. Please make a test:
1) Copy one item of the VM to the clipboard.
2) Type this line into the XYplorer address bar and press ENTER:
3) Post a screenshot of the resulting message box here in the thread.

Re: Cannot Copy/Paste between XYplorer to Vmware OS
I am facing the same issue.
When I copy the file directly to the Desktop (using Explorer) a copy of the file I want to copy from the host is created inside the %temp% folder and copied from there to the final destination.
It seems that the VMware-Tools copy event handler does not get triggered:

Re: Cannot Copy/Paste between XYplorer to Vmware OS
Looks like the file does not exist. Or at least XY cannot see it.

Re: Cannot Copy/Paste between XYplorer to Vmware OS
Yes. I think that the VMware Tools (application inside the VM) is intercepting the copy event, copies the file to the temp folder and than triggers the WindowsHandler.
