after Glider-ing over the last tree entry (when it stays visible) i am clicking the mouse in the empty tree below and then over inside the bottom pane.
for this recording, only after i clicked back into the top pane, the Glider disappeared.

if i go up and down the tree top to bottom and then up, it redraws correctly. only stays visible if i leave it on the last entry and then move out of the tree.

When I think about it, I get unsure because it looks buggy. Maybe it should snap to the first button if possible and the glider should always stay fully visible as a priority? :maf:

Ah, now I see it! So you have a very small tree with white space below!

<g_path>

Why does it have a trailing backslash? Are there any path variables (left) that still use it?

IMO, no - it should stay as it is now. 'Cause "if possible" means that snap to first button might be often not possible, due to too close to edge, so bar will be drawn where it can be shown fully > so first button will most probably get shifted away from mouse pointer > which makes the whole option not working.

I've looked through all the beta release notes for The Glider, and seemingly searched through this thread. I also looked at the ini file for a tweak.

I can't find how to display The Glider display as vertical. I have it as such on one PC and now that I'm happy with its operation, I want to configure it on my laptop.

Thanks.

Yes, that's how I did it before (obviously) but couldn't remember on this new PC. It's not completely obvious. (Don - did you hear that?) :-)

Thanks highend.

I heard it, but I don't want to make it too obvious. Don't want to bore anyone.
