Invert Filter Doesn't Seem To Work

Hi All,

I have been reading the help file and trying examples for a while now. In the live filter box I want to show all files that don't start with index. I thought using !index* would do that for according to the help file but it doesn't seem to. What am I missing? ! Doesn't appear to invert anything I do.
