Yes, I've seen that too recently. I'm watching it.

I noticed that after deleting the CTRL+R shortcut, the ks.dat file must be deleted, otherwise this shortcut will remain in the menu.

I have the Suspend Auto-Refresh menu item enabled after switching the view mode to Details and exiting the application without saving, but after startup the item is enabled.

I deleted the ks.dat file again and restarted XYplorer, the menu item is enabled. I uncheck and save the settings, and after restarting XYplorer the menu item is checked again.

Try deleting the ks.dat file.
I also noticed that in beta without data (clean data folder) the checkbox on the menu item is checked by default and is not unchecked even after application registration.

This PC has no auto-refresh, that's why it's checked.

xyplorer_24.90.0115_beta_noinstall without settings: why is the checkbox not unchecked?

The "This PC" folder has no auto-refresh, that's why "Suspend Auto-Refresh" is checked.

Run and close the last beta, replace the settings file with mine and run the beta. Is the menu item checked?
Unnecessary, I'm back in the PC folder.
