:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Issue with File Right Click and "Show in Explorer" in Git Applications

Post by SaiKarthik »

I have GitHub desktop and smart git applications.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Make the XYplorer as default file manager
2. Go to GitHub desktop or smart git applications.
3. Right Click on the file changed and click "Show in Explorer".
4. The folder for the file is being opened.
But the file in the folder is not being selected...

Perform the same with windows explorer as default explorer.
The file will be selected.

Yes, this is a known problem. And probably one of the few things that cannot be fixed. I know how to do it, but it's so ridiculously complex and full of potential pitfalls and side effects that I'd rather not do it.
