1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

SC savethumb

Post by jupe »

SC savethumb doesn't seem to accept percentage sizes for video/pdf files (and I think other non img types), providing absolute pixels works, but adjusting the dimensions by percentage doesn't (even 100%), a 1x1 image is created instead.

Code: Select all

savethumb(,,"50%"); // fail

Don, I don't know if you would consider this a bug, but it would be nice if it was avoidable, if -1 is used for the transparency flag to preserve, no file is output at all when run on a non-image/certain img types.

Is it possible that if the source format has no transparency, but the flag is set, a output file will still get created, so that the flag doesn't have to get set manually depending on each source filetype, ie. it preserves transparency when possible, and doesn't if not possible?

eg, run this on a pdf: savethumb(7:=-1);

even though by default outputting to a jpg (non trans output anyway), nothing happens (same result even if set to png though too)
