:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Autoplay not working

Post by TelKel81 »

I select a video or audio file (e.g. mp3, mp4).
The preview pane displays an embedded Windows Media Player
The media doesn't play. Autoplay IS checked in the configuration.
I can click the Play button and it works, but it doesn't auto-play.

When it's a video file, in the status bar, it says : playing field : automation error.

Any idea what can cause this ?

AutoPlay setting applies to the Preview Panel instead (Ctrl+4), if you close the Pane you'll get the full playback controls shown.

You need codecs installed for some formats, if you don't have them installed you will receive errors.

Got it, thanks.

Tools / Configuration / Preview should be clearer about which of the two Preview "controls" is affected by those options.
