Rocker-click is different for list-view Name after move to new PC

Post by sasumner »

On my previous computer, in the List view, I could do the "rocker click" (left-click-and-hold, tap-and-release-right click) on a Name column item and get a popup menu where it would show exact path that would be copied if the item was chosen, exact file..., quoted exact path..., quoted exact name...

So like if I did the rocker thing on a C:\batch\foo.bat file, I'd see in the menu (going from memory here):

C:\batch\foo.bat
foo.bat
(separator, maybe)??
"C:\batch\foo.bat"
"foo.bat"

I've come to depend upon this feature, and I can't seem to get XY configured correctly to do it for me on my new PC. I no longer have access to the old computer to check its setup. Now when I do rocker-click I get a menu with "To Clipboard" at the top, which provides similar copy capabilities, but is slower to do (have to slide to a submenu) and doesn't show me exact data that will be copied.

I've searched the help and this forum for hints about this, but couldn't find it (maybe that's on me, but I searched for "rocker").

Anyway, can I get an assist on how to get this configured? TIA.

@jupe,

It isn't exactly intuitive that that was what was needed, but it worked perfectly to restore my desired functionality.

Many thanks!
