no hover color for thumbs

Sometimes the hover color when multi selecting thumbs is not shown properly,only a border color is shown when selecting.As in the gif for the next image after r3 there is no hover color on selection.

Note -- I use a custom selection background color,as in image

Last time asking(forgot),I selected it by mouse and point to select is enabled,how did you tested

recently found that, sometimes when selecting a single thumb with mouse there is no hover color on selection.

Since the whole thumbnail has the selected color, the hover color is only visible at the outer margins. Look closely and you will see it.

With padding = 0 there may be no room for it.

when the thumbs are in a bottom row and u select it by mouse,as in image,with padding 7 there is this problem

Show full window screenshots, and your thumbnail settings (Configuration | Preview | Thumbnails).

Those 3 bottom files are selected? Can I see the captions, please? And remove that blue border.

Whatever, I agree that the hover highlight is too hard to see with selected thumbnails, so I added this:

    * Configuration | General | Menus, Mouse, Usability | Usability | Highlight hovered 
      items: Now in tiles and thumbnails views, the background color of selected items is 
      highlighted as well when hovered. Makes it easier to see the highlight effect.

Many thx ,updated xy,there is still a bug when multi selecting it's getting selected after one hovers on it and then moves the mouse(pointer) away from that thumb
