Tabs only close when i click on another tab

Hey guys, say i have 10 tabs open in Xyplorer, keyboard press ctrl + w, most of the time it doesnt actually close that tab until i click on another tab

This isnt always the case but alot of the time its like this, no idea why this happens, any thoughts as to why?

Cannot reproduce. Try to find a pattern.

hmmm, still happens every now and then, no idea what the cause could be, perhaps something to do with external HDDs?

Ctrl+F4 also closes a tab. Does it work better for you?

ill have to experiment with that, my instinct just is stuck with
ctrl + w or clicking on the cross on the tab

but yeah still to this day, at many instances, it wont update that i clicked on the close, until i click on another tab, only then would the tab disappear
