Per Specific Folder OR Per Open Tab OR Per Configured Path?

I often encounter where I need only one or a few folders to have the ability to "show folder sizes" and do not want to waste significant computing IO on generating the size information on folders which are desired to report this information. That being said---

Are there any settings which allow for "Show Folder Sizes"

(a) Per Specific Folder (user defined, while other folders do not display "show folder sizes")
(b) Per Open Tab (user defined, not stateful, not retained once specific tab is closed)
(c) Per Configured Path (user defined, stateful, retains "show folder sizes" when defined path is displayed in list view)

Do any of the above capabilities exist in XY?

There doesn't seem to be? Maybe a new tweak to show the folder size when hovering a folder? And apply to this tweak ShowFolderSizeDelayMsecs=0? I don't need it, always turn folder size on or off.

Just select the folder and do View | Calculate Folder Sizes (Shift+F5) on demand.
